Coca Cola is happiness, or at least,
that's what the brand's marketing has been telling you. But there was a place
where that happiness was missing: the supermarket checkout. Ogilvy Brazil
cleverly used the brand's telltale, instantly recognizable, five-note-melody to
make the "beeps" at the checkout musical. Every time a Coke barcode
was recognized, it played the tune, thanks a small device inside a supermarket
chain's checkout system.
